Congratulations to Tom Brodnitzki, CGA Teaching Consultant and My Wonderful World coordinator, who was chosen to receive a 2007 Milken National Educator Award from the Milken Family Foundation. Tom is a teacher at the Metropolitan Learning Center in Bloomfield. The Milken National Educator Awards provide public recognition and an unrestricted financial award of $25,000 to elementary and secondary school teachers, principals, and other education professionals who are furthering excellence in education. In October, Tom was surprised at school with the award and in the spring he will join other award winners from across the country at the Milken Family Foundation National Education Conference in Los Angeles, California where he will receive the actual monetary award and recognition. Congratulations, Tom!
