The 17th year of the Connecticut Envirothon is underway. A wide variety of three-hour, Saturday morning training sessions in the disciplines of Soils, Aquatics, Forestry, Wildlife, and Map Reading, along with 2008’s current issue “Managing Recreational Impacts on Natural Resources” have begun. It is never too late to become involved. The 2008 field competition will be held at Windsor’s Northwest Park on May 15.
